Cool screen locks. Screen lock on Android: how to set it up? We protect our personal information from strangers: with a graphic key, PIN code and password

Every smartphone will definitely have files that the user wants to keep securely from prying eyes.

This could be photographs, videos, personal notes or email correspondence. If a smartphone or tablet falls into the wrong hands, it can bring serious trouble to its owner.

To secure your phone already at the first level of access, without going deeper into protecting each application or important system folder, you can lock the screen.

For this, system settings are used, as well as special applications.

In our article we will look at how to set a screen lock on Android, and also suggest several ways to customize it.

On a note:

Using Android settings, you can set a secure lock:

  • Graphic key
  • PIN code
  • Password

Let's consider the methods in order.

Method 1: Pattern key

By default, the screen lock of a mobile gadget is removed using a slider.

In terms of security, this method is absolutely unreliable, since any person, simply by swiping his finger across the screen, gains access to the contents of the device.

The easiest way to securely lock the screen is to set a pattern, a sequence of connecting several dots.

To configure the key, follow these steps:

  • Go to Android settings
  • Select “Security”
  • Click on the line "Lock Screen"
  • Click on the line “Pattern key”
  • Make a defensive combination on a field of 9 points
  • Enter the key again to confirm
  • Select the mode for displaying notifications on the lock screen

After this, you can additionally configure the display of the entered key.

If you doubt the reliability of the graphic code, look at the number of combinations of dots that someone who decides to use your gadget will have to go through:

  • 4 dots - 1624 combinations
  • 5 points – 7152
  • 6 points – 26016
  • 7 points - 72912
  • 8 points - 140704
  • 9 points - 140704

In total, it turns out that the graphic key contains 389,112 different combinations of connecting dots.

In order to enter all possible combinations, at the rate of 1 sequence of dots per second, it will take almost 106 hours!

Helpful information:

To create a password on your smartphone, you can use the utility. It is designed to block applications on Android using a password. With its help, only you will be able to access messenger, social networks, camera and gallery or any other applications.

Method 2: PIN code

If you trust numbers more than dot patterns, in the same security menu of your smartphone or tablet, you can set the screen lock on Android using a four-digit PIN code:

  • Go to settings to block method
  • Select a PIN code
  • Dial four numbers
  • Enter the code again

In the case of numbers, there are fewer combinations than when typing graphically - 10,000 options.

And yet, it will take a lot of time to go through all the numerical combinations.

Method 3: Password

Based on the number of possible combinations, the password should be classified as the most reliable method. In the blocking methods, click on the “Password” line and enter a sequence of characters.

The password must consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 17 characters.

Considering the typing using numbers, mathematical symbols, Cyrillic and Latin letters, the number of combinations exceeds several billion.

The most important thing is not to forget the tricky password for unlocking.

Method 4: Lock using apps

In the Google Play digital store, you can download special programs that not only set up a screen lock on Android, but also visually customize the screen itself: install beautiful wallpapers and add the necessary widgets.

Among the programs that collect good reviews and are also easy to manage, we can highlight:

  • Smart lock screen
  • SnapLock
  • ZUI Locker
  • CM Locker

Smart lock screen

Smart lock screen, which is downloaded and installed for free on an Android device, will help the user not only protect his gadget, but also customize the lock screen.

In the main menu of the application, you need to set a four-character PIN code, which can be changed at any time. The application also allows you to:

  • Change text on lock screen
  • Set text color
  • Set bright and colorful wallpapers with beautiful landscapes, views of the night sky and city lights.

Like most free applications, Smart lock screen contains built-in advertising, but in this case the program developers approached the matter very competently.

To avoid annoying the user with pop-up banners, the advertising button is set as a menu item.

By clicking on it, the user can download an additional proprietary application: a music player or a tool for photo collages.

SnapLock

The smart screen lock app SnapLock will help you set a PIN code or pattern on your smartphone or tablet.

In addition to the standard functionality, the program has a number of interesting features:

  • AppRhythm function. The application monitors the frequency of program launches. SnapLock displays shortcuts to your most frequently used apps on the lock screen
  • Setting the swipe direction to a specific command
  • Clock display. You can display a widget with a clock, date and weather in several font styles on the lock screen.
  • Adding wallpaper to the lock screen
  • Display all notifications on one screen.

ZUI Locker

OS version: Android 4.1 or later

Users' opinions about the ZUI Locker screen locker are divided: some praise it for conveniently setting up smartphone protection, others admire the huge variety of thematic settings.

The screen lock can be programmed with both a pattern and a password. And for a colorful design, the application contains several dozen beautiful wallpapers and themes.

Separately, I would like to note a pleasant design feature - when you tilt the smartphone, the picture set as wallpaper begins to smoothly shift.

CM Locker

OS version: Android 4.0 or later

CM Locker is the very same screen lock application in which gadget protection comes first.

The program allows you to configure access bans using a PIN code and a pattern, and on devices that are unlocked with a fingerprint, it will help you configure the scanner module.

The user can apply protection not only to the screen, but also to individual applications, for example, mail, instant messengers or social networks.

If someone tries to hack a password or key, the application will take a photo of the attacker and send it to the user by email.

CM Locker can also be linked to a Facebook account. If the phone is lost, the user will be able to track the gadget, turn on the alarm or block the mobile phone.

By the way, you can read about what to do if your phone is the subject of theft or is simply lost in the article How to find a lost Android phone.

Among the visual features in CM Locker we can note:

  • Weather informers
  • Display notifications on a separate screen
  • Camera, flashlight and player control buttons on the lock screen
  • Adding beautiful wallpaper to your lock

In order to answer the question: how to put a lock on the Android screen, we needed a high-quality and reliable smartphone, on which we could not only fully test the simple and convenient functionality of the operating system, but also appreciate the brightness and richness of the colors of all the wallpapers that we found in applications.

Our assistant in today's question was the Fly Cirrus 7 smartphone.

Why Fly

Over the 14 years of its history, the British company Fly has released many excellent smartphones that meet all modern user requirements, be it a large screen, a capacious battery or a high-quality camera.

We appreciated Fly Cirrus 7, first of all, for its bright and contrasting 5.2-inch IPS display.

While studying the design side of applications, we sometimes became so focused on the pictures that were displayed on the screen that we forgot about testing other settings.

And here the two strong technical components of the smartphone did not let us down.

The 1.25 GHz quad-core processor easily ran multiple applications at a time without any lag.

A capacious 2600 mAh battery kept the smartphone charged throughout the test, even with the LTE 4G module turned on.

Lock screen on Android needed not only for beauty. This is an important part of system navigation and can be used to quickly access the functionality you need. Standard lock screens are fine, but there are even more interesting options. Android magazine has prepared a list of the best lock screen apps.

1. Hi Locker

Hi Locker offers a fast CyanogenMod-style bootloader that works by holding and swiping on apps to launch them from the lock screen. There are three lock screen styles: classic, Android Lollipop and iOS. There is a calendar on a separate screen where you can view upcoming events. There are several customization options, including different greetings, fonts, and automatic wallpaper changes.

2. LokLok

LokLok offers an interesting idea, but to implement it you need the help of friends. The app allows you to draw on the lock screen and then send the drawings as messages to other users of the app. Messages will appear on the lock screen and recipients can edit them and send them back.

The beta version of the app did not allow you to set up a PIN code, so the program was not the best from a security point of view. But it is free and entertaining.

7.Next Lock Screen

Microsoft's new philosophy is to create cross-platform applications. This proposal is another example of this approach regarding the Android system.

Next Lock Screen looks elegant and simple, but inside it calculates which apps you're most likely to use. The time of day, location and other parameters are taken into account. After this, the application is shown on the screen. You don't have to use this feature, but another advantage here is the clear display of notifications, calendars and other smartphone functions.

Many lock screens have a minimalistic appearance, but AcDisplay surpasses them all in terms of asceticism. Small icons appear to display notifications, you need to hold your finger on one of them for a more detailed view, and then remove the notification with a gesture.

The device's sensors are used to detect whether the smartphone is in your pocket or you are working with it so that the screen turns on and off in time.

9. Locker Pro

C Locker Pro is an impressive package with many features and shortcuts. More than 30 different actions are available: you can make calls, open applications, read notifications from selected social networks. Double or triple tap to turn the screen on and off.

10. Echo Notification Lockscreen

Echo displays notifications in a minimalist way and gives you flexible control over what you see and access. As you can see in the image, you can create categories of notifications, such as work, social networks, personal and others, you can add different applications to them.

Right on the lock screen you will have access to a large number of programs.

11. Dynamic Notifications

DynamicNotifications is an unobtrusive lock screen that's gentle on your eyes and your smartphone's battery. By default, it has a simple black background; notifications turn on the screen only when it is not in a pocket, bag, or lying face down. It is not necessary to use this program as a lock screen, but the premium version allows it too. You can customize actions with notifications, there is a night mode when notifications will not bother you.

If for one reason or another you have forgotten your password, PIN code or pattern to access your smartphone, do not be sad - all is not lost. Of course, all of these security measures are specifically designed to protect your device from unauthorized access, so bypassing them is not that easy. However, in many cases it is still possible to unlock the device.
There are different ways to hack locked Android smartphones or tablets. We will tell you about seven of the most effective ones.

Method 1: Use Google's Find My Device service

The best option for most Android smartphones and tablets is to use the built-in Find My Device service, which can be accessed from your Google Account on any device or computer.
However, this method only works on versions below Android 8.0. That is, if your smartphone has Android 7.1.1 Nougat firmware or lower, everything should work out.
As counterintuitive as it may sound, once Find My Device locates your phone, click on the Lock button. If the service cannot determine the device’s coordinates, try refreshing the connection by clicking on the “Refresh” button next to the name of your smartphone. The connection must be established within 5 attempts.

When you click on the “Lock” button, you will be prompted to enter a new password that will replace the forgotten pattern, PIN or password. Enter your password twice and click on Lock.

Within five minutes, the password will be changed and you will be able to unlock your device using the new password.

Method 2: Use Samsung's Find My Mobile service

Owners of Samsung devices can use a similar Find My Mobile service. Follow this link from any browser and sign in to your Samsung account. If you have not created an account, this method, unfortunately, will not work for you.
Once logged into your account, click on the “Lock My Screen” button in the left panel of the window. Now enter your new PIN in the first field and click on the “Lock” button at the bottom of the screen. After 1-2 minutes, the new PIN will take effect and you will be able to unlock your device.

Method 3. Use the “Forgot Pattern” function

If your device is running Android 4.4 or lower, try using the Forgot Pattern feature. After five unsuccessful attempts to unlock the device, the message “Next attempt in 30 seconds” will appear. When you see this message, tap on the “Forgot Pattern” button at the bottom of the screen.

Now select “Enter Google Account Details”. On some devices you will be taken directly to this menu. Enter your primary Google account username and password. After this, you will either be sent a forgotten pattern key by email, or you can change it right here.

Method 4: Perform a factory reset

If you don't mind losing the data on your phone, you can restore access to it by resetting the system to factory settings. However, due to the new built-in anti-theft feature “Factory Reset Protection”, owners of phones released in 2016 and later will need a Google Account password.
The factory reset process varies from device to device, but generally you'll need to turn off your phone completely first to begin with. When the screen goes dark, press and hold the volume down button and the device's power button at the same time. When the bootloader menu appears on the screen, double-press the Volume Down button to go to the Recovery Mode menu item. To select this item, press the device's power button.

Now, while holding the power button, press the volume up button once. In this case, your device should enter recovery mode. Next, using the volume buttons, go to the option “Wipe data/factory reset” and select it using the device’s power button. When the process is completed, select the “Reboot System Now” option. Your phone will be unlocked.

If your smartphone was released in 2016 or later, you will be asked to enter the username and password for your Google account - the one you used before the factory reset. If you remember them, you will have access to the device immediately after logging into your Google account.

Method 5: Use ADB to Delete Password File

This method is suitable only for those who previously enabled USB debugging mode on the device, and at the same time allowed their computer to connect to the device via ADB. If this is your case, and the data encryption function is not activated on your device by default, then this method will suit you perfectly.
So, first of all, connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable. Open a command window in your ADB installation directory. Next, type the following command and press Enter.

Adb shell rm /data/system/gesture.key

Now restart your phone. The lock screen should disappear and you should be able to access your device without any problems. But this is only a temporary measure, so be sure to set a new pattern, PIN or password before the device is rebooted again.

Method 6: Boot your device into Safe Mode

This method is intended for devices with a third-party application lock screen, not the factory one.
To boot your phone into safe mode, activate the device shutdown menu on the lock screen, and then long press on “Power off”. Now, when asked if you want to boot your device into Safe Mode, select OK. Once the process is complete, the third-party app's lock screen will be temporarily disabled.

Method 7. Cause the lock screen to crash

This method is suitable if your device is encrypted, Android version 5.0-5.1.1 is installed on it, and a password is required to unlock the screen.
First of all, tap on the “Emergency Call” option on the lock screen and enter 10 stars in the dialing field. Now, double tap, select the entered combination, copy it and paste it into the same field so that the number of characters doubles. Repeat the same procedure, increasingly increasing the number of characters, until the characters no longer stand out when you double tap.

Next, go back to the lock screen and open the camera. Then open the notification shade and tap on the Settings icon. When prompted to enter a password, long press on the input field and select Paste. Repeat the procedure several times. Finally, when the number of characters entered in the field reaches a certain limit, the lock screen will fail, it will “fall” and you will be able to access the rest of the interface of your device.

For a long time, the lock screen in the Android operating system could not be seriously customized. However, this cannot be said now. Both launchers and special utilities, popularly called blockers, can change its appearance. It is these programs that will be discussed in this review.

Some time ago, Google allowed changing the screen lock on Android only to smartphone manufacturers who develop their own shells. But gradually third-party developers gained access to the corresponding APIs. As a result, Google Play is filled with all sorts of programs that can change the design of the lock screen. Many of them can be downloaded for free. But there is no need to rejoice. Most often, such an application contains a couple of varieties of lockscreen, and the rest are offered to be installed for money.

This program for locking the screen on Android tries to replicate the lockscreen built into the latest Apple smartphones. And she does it well.

This program is not as simple as it seems. It includes several topics, each of which is very attractive. The developers allow you to use one theme for the lock screen itself, and a second one for the general splash screen. To unlock here you can use the usual swipe or a numeric password.

Advantages:

  • Easy installation;
  • The interface is reminiscent of 6;
  • Several design themes;
  • Distributed free of charge.

Flaws:

  • Presence of paid content;
  • The application cannot be called original;
  • Minimum functionality;
  • Technical problems on some devices.

The most advanced and secure blocker. It is intended for those users who regularly leave their smartphone in a crowded place unattended. This program will definitely not allow a stranger to unlock your device. In fact, it makes the Android operating system even more secure.

The utility offers several blocking methods to choose from. The simplest of them is entering a PIN code. Other methods are more sophisticated, but they often do not require memorizing numbers. For example, in the Offset Pin mode, you need to enter a number that differs from the current time in one direction or another. And the Date Pin option will allow you to unlock the device by entering the current time in reverse order. You can also use your mobile phone number to unlock, but the creators do not recommend doing this.

Advantages:

  • A large number of unlocking methods;
  • Nice looking lock screen;
  • Distributed free of charge.

Flaws:

  • Problems with the time format on some devices;
  • Availability of paid content.

Hi Locker

Price: Free

The creators of Hi Locker worked hard to make the interface of their creation as convenient as possible. They are also fans of older versions of the Android operating system. In fact, the lock screen is borrowed from them, and it is cleverly combined with the lockscreen implemented in the Lollipop version.

As with all modern devices, Hi Locker allows you to read notifications - at least the main part of them - without unlocking your smartphone. The application also helps you change the wallpaper on the lock screen. Moreover, it is even possible to apply your own inscription, which serves as a kind of reminder of an event or a motivator. And after installing this utility, you will have the weather on your lock screen - the temperature can be displayed in both Fahrenheit and Celsius.

The main disadvantage of this program is that it prevents other applications from displaying their own controls on the lock screen. For example, you can turn off the alarm clock only after unlocking the device. Managing tracks in the music player will also become unavailable.

Advantages:

  • Beautiful lock screen;
  • Display of the current weather on the lockscreen;
  • Well-implemented notifications;
  • Several design themes;
  • The ability to create an inscription to remind you of something;
  • Distributed free of charge;
  • Several unlocking methods;
  • Disable password entry when you are on your home Wi-Fi network.

Flaws:

  • Third-party applications cannot display their elements on the lock screen;
  • Availability of paid content.

Smileys have taken over our world. They have become so popular that it’s time to make a full-length film about them. Therefore, it should not be surprising that you can now download a screen lock for Android based specifically on emoticons. Emoji faces are placed right on top of the pattern here. Let us remind you that this is the name of the unlocking method when the finger moves from point to point along a certain route.

Using emoticons makes it much easier to remember the pattern key. The fact is that you need to remember not the route of the finger movement itself, but the order of the emoticons along which you move.

The application displays the time and date on the lockscreen. Several additional themes are also available to the user completely free of charge. In general, the utility is not the height of perfection. But you can install it for a while so that the lock screen will amuse you with many funny emoticons.

Advantages:

  • Popular emoticons on the lock screen;
  • Several design themes;
  • Distributed free of charge;
  • Easy to remember pattern key.

Flaws:

  • Minimum number of blocking methods;
  • Gradually, emoticons can become boring;
  • Presence of a large number of advertisements.

Locker Master

What characteristic feature do the best screen locks for Android have? Perhaps a large number of design themes to choose from. And it is desirable that they are all free. And these themes should also be interactive, because this makes the lock screen animated and memorable. Why are we doing all this? And besides, Locker Master has all of the above qualities.

This application offers a choice of the best animations in a variety of directions. The user is asked not just to put a picture. Each animation here is a special unlocking mechanism! For example, a lock implies typing on it a cipher that you have thought up in advance. And the piano keys make you play a short melody. In total, the developers provide about a hundred of these diverse and unique unlocking methods.

There are also the simplest ways to unlock the device, which involve entering a pattern key or PIN code. In the application settings you can find many options that adjust the lock screen to suit your needs. In particular, here you can set the information to be displayed and assign some actions to hot buttons.

Advantages:

  • Original unlocking methods;
  • Many design themes;
  • Distributed free of charge;
  • Availability of hot buttons;
  • Do-It-Yourself editor available.

Flaws:

  • Animation consumes battery power;
  • For full operation, constant access to the Internet is required.

GO Locker

Another application that changes the lock screen and provides access to beautiful themes. The difference from the product discussed above is that the unlocking method in all themes is approximately the same. But such themes consume less battery power.

GO Locker allows you to change the clock on your lock screen. Wallpaper and many other elements also change. Interestingly, the product is open source. In this regard, enthusiasts have already released thousands of themes. And in the future their number will increase to tens of thousands! They differ from each other not only in wallpaper, but also in the location of widgets, as well as additional functions. For example, in GO Locker you can find lock screens that are ideal for a 10-inch tablet.

Gestures, pattern or PIN code are used as unlocking methods. In a word, in this regard, everything is standard here. There is also a weather display here. The only drawback is that the application does not allow you to choose a weather provider.

Advantages:

  • Many beautiful design themes;
  • Distributed free of charge;
  • Availability of hot buttons.

Flaws:

  • Not the best translation into Russian;
  • There are no original unlocking methods;
  • Availability of advertising.

Summarizing

This time our review turned out to be quite large. But even it did not fit absolutely all the programs used to change the lock screen. Google Play is literally littered with them. We tried to select the best of them, but it is possible that some “pearls” were beyond our sight.

Be that as it may, we recommend installation GO Locker And Locker Master. These apps will definitely not disappoint you. What will strike you most is the number of design themes available for the user to choose from. A good option is to install Hi Locker. But this product makes you want to shell out for the full version. This kind of program looks no less interesting CM Locker. We talked about her in.

Hello.

I think that most of us have files and information on our mobile phone (or tablet) that we would not like to show ☺. There are a lot of ways to protect it, but one of the simplest and most reliable is to put a lock on the screen so that no one but you can turn on the phone (so that an Android phone can easily do this) .

Such protection, of course, will not protect you from professional hackers, but for most users this is not necessary. If you accidentally, say, forget your phone at work, then no one will be able to see your correspondence and photos. Which is basically what you need!

In this article, I will look at several ways to set up a screen lock on Android using various methods: pattern, PIN code, password and special utilities.

Note: I recommend choosing a password that you will not forget. No matter how funny it may be, more than once I have encountered such a situation that people forgot their passwords 1-2 minutes after they set them. Keep in mind that if you forget the password to unlock the screen, then in some cases it will be enough to enter the data from your Google account, and in some cases you will need to reset the phone to factory settings (and maybe even reflash it).

Graphic key

By default, the Android screen usually unlocks after simply swiping your finger across the screen (which will only protect you if the phone accidentally turns on, for example, in your pocket). Therefore, it is recommended to replace this method with a safer one...

The easiest way to protect yourself is to use a pattern key: the point is that you need to draw a small snake consisting of 4-9 dots with your finger. If you know this “snake”, then this is done easily and quickly. However, protection allows you to quite seriously protect your device from the curiosity of prying eyes.

For example: even a snake with 4 points has 1624 combinations, and with 9 - 140704. That is. choosing a combination using the selection method (when you don’t even know how many points) is very, very difficult.

To install this protection, you must:

Now, when you want to turn on the phone and look at the menu, first of all, you will need to unlock the screen by entering the pattern. Until you enter it, the phone will be blocked from prying eyes...

A PIN code is a type of password consisting of 4 digits. Many users trust numbers more than graphic snakes drawn on the screen. In addition, the PIN code is used everywhere, for example, on bank cards, SIM cards, etc.

To set a PIN:

Note: Many people doubt the security of the PIN code, allegedly because it can be easily guessed. I can argue with them: in total, you need to check 10,000 combinations. You need to go through them manually, and after several incorrect attempts to enter the PIN code, Android will block password entry for 30 seconds. Those. theoretically, a curious person will have to sit on your phone for more than one day! If your phone is left unattended for such a long period of time, I think more than one password will not help you...

Password

This is one of the most reliable lock screen protections. The password length can be from 4 to 17 characters, taking into account the fact that the characters can be both Latin and Cyrillic (large and small), plus numbers and special characters - all kinds of multi-million combinations are obtained. Even with the help of special software, finding a password is extremely difficult.

To set a password, you must also open the settings in the following path: "Security/Screen Lock/Password" . Next, enter the required password twice and select the option to show notifications. Setting the password is shown in the screenshot below.

Special Applications

Soft Lock Screen

Soft Lock Screen - screenshots of the application (from the developers)

The application allows you to easily and quickly turn on your smartphone screen lock, customize the wallpaper, select a screensaver, calendar, weather, etc. The application really surprises you with its bright colors and ease of use! If desired, the wallpaper on the screensaver will change automatically, new ones every day, delighting and surprising you.

Note: On some phones it is not possible (or problematic) to change the screensaver. This application allows you to fix this.

Peculiarities:

  1. beautiful and user-friendly interface with HD wallpapers (by the way, all wallpapers have been tested by the program developers, so no junk will be shown!);
  2. efficiency: the developers have placed some of the most necessary applications on the lock screen (for example, you can quickly turn on a flashlight, notebook, etc.);
  3. security: you can set a password or pattern key to protect your smartphone (moreover, the key may contain photographs of people close to you, see photo above).

LOCKit

LOCKit- this program is designed specifically to protect personal data. In addition to directly locking the screen, it is possible to lock applications, photos, and contacts.

In addition to this, there is a phone anti-theft feature that helps you find your phone and catch the thief. By the way, such a thing as “Burglar Selfie” helps with this - a photo is automatically taken of the person who entered the wrong PIN code or drew a pattern.

Well, in addition, you can install HD wallpapers (beautiful and pleasing to the eye ☺).

PS

In principle, there are a lot of such applications, each with its own pros/cons. I think it’s pointless to consider dozens (hundreds) of these applications within the framework of this article. Anyone who goes to the play market can try it experimentally and find an application to their liking.

What to do if you forgot your key/password?

I am not an expert in this, and I will give only the basic methods. By the way, I recommend looking for an unlocking option specifically for your phone model (perhaps there is an option much simpler than the universal ones offered by many authors).

1) Google account password

In the most harmless case, after entering the pattern key incorrectly (usually you need to enter 5 times), you should see a window asking you to enter data from your Google account.

Enter your data, and if the phone was able to connect to the network (for example, connected via Wi-Fi), then you can reset the password.

Note: such a window with the ability to recover a password does not always appear and not on all devices. Moreover, if the password was set using special applications.

2) HARD-Reset

This is a special reboot of the device, which will restore the system to factory settings. This deletes all user data: contacts, SMS, passwords, applications, etc. All this data cannot be restored, so I do not recommend rushing to this procedure.

Hard Reset is usually used as a last resort when errors, failures, or problems with entering the device occur when other methods do not work.

To help!

How to reset Android settings to factory settings (i.e. delete all data from your phone, tablet) -

3) Flashing the phone

The topic is quite specific; if you have never done this before, I recommend contacting a service center.

By the way, in some cases it is possible to enter the phone settings menu and disable the lock. To do this, wait for some notification to appear, for example, that the battery is low and needs to be charged.

Despite this seemingly simple blocking, your phone is protected from most curious people (and you from unnecessary conversations, whispering behind your back, and gossip).

That, in fact, is all I wanted to say in this article.
